Flaming Lips, Local Natives, Spoon Confirmed for Outside Lands

Outside Lands Music Festival announced this year’s line-up. Actually, Outside Lands had Huey Lewis announce this year’s line-up in a Funny or Die video released today. No joke.

Kanye West, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and The Killers will headline; and other highlights include The Flaming Lips, Ray LaMontagne, Death Cab For Cutie, Spoon, Lykke Li, Local Natives, Grouplove, Phosphorescent, Warpaint, Christopher Owens, Mikal Cronin, Woods, Jonathan Wilson, Givers, and Courtney Barnett.

Also on the bill: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Arctic Monkeys, Tiësto, Disclosure, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Atmosphere, Cut Copy, Tegan & Sara, Duck Sauce, Haim, Chromeo, Ben Howard, Chvrches, Paolo Nutini, Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves, Jenny Lewis, John Butler Trio, Tycho, The Kooks, SBTRKT, Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers, Boys Noize, Run the Jewels (El-P & Killer Mike), Deer Tick, Holy Ghost!, Flume, Lucius, Typhoon, Dum Dum Girls, The Soul Rebels, Gold Panda and more.

Outside Lands will announce their 2014 line-up tomorrow. Set for August 8-10 at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, the festival organizers have already leaked several artists at instagram.com/outside_lands – The Flaming Lips, Phosphorescent, Local Natives, Run the Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike), Gold Panda, Ben Howard, Haim, SBTRKT, Kacey Musgraves – and Spoonwas teased on March 27th in this facebook update. Arctic Monkeys’ tour suggests they are booked for Outside Lands; and The Pixies, Iron & Wine, Chromeo, The Killers, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Cut Copy, Pharrell/ Daft Punk, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Lykke Li are all rumored; as are the acts speculated for, like every festival, ever (Kanye, Prince, Eminem, Bruce, Arctic Monkeys, etc).
