Preview “Man, It Feels Like Space Again” – Numerous Albums by Tame Impala and Pond Band Members Due Out This Year
Pond is set to issue their most ambitious record yet along with several side projects: a “Shiny Joe Ryan” album recorded in 2011, Jay’s LP under his GUM alias, and an Allbrook/ Avery record with four-fifths of The Horrors; all are due out this year.
Updates on Mercury Rev’s Next Album: “Best stuff we have done in a long time.”
According to Dave Fridmann, “a Mercury Rev meeting of the minds” kicked off the process on October 28, 2013, with a second series of sessions at Tarbox Road Studios commencing December 9th. “We record a bunch of stuff at Catskills studios,” Grasshoper says, “then Fridmann’s hammers it into shape at Tarbox…”
