Every few months Late Night with Jimmy Fallon holds a “Band Bench” sweepstakes. “The Band Benches are a special audience seating area set aside for HUGE fans of musical guests appearing on the show,” the show explains. “Fans sitting on the Band Benches will be given the exclusive chance to come down to the studio floor and surround the musical guest during their performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon!”
This week’s Band Bench performers are listed below with the other must-see-music-TV coming soon to a small screen near you (and yes, you MUST see the two separate new appearances by Huey Lewis and the News scheduled for the next couple of days).

May 16th UPDATE
The rumors were true. Kind of…
Wayne Coyne was as naked as the FCC allows as he fronted the Flaming Lips last night on Fallon. That was after he played pictionary with Demi Lovato. Both songs the Lips performed – “Try to Explain” and David Bowie’s “Heroes” – have also recently been released as official “live” music videos. Watch those here, and the Fallon clips here, here, here, and here.
