2012 Hangout Festival Headlined by Jack White – Plus, Wilco, Dr Dog, Dawes, Flaming Lips’ Dark Side

Mark your calendar for May 18-20, 2012: The Hangout Festival is returning to Gulf Shores, Alabama for its third year and suggests you “come hang out, relax and enjoy!”

Headlined by Jack White and the Dave Matthews Band, it also features The Flaming Lips performing Dark Side of the Moon, Wilco, Dr. Dog, Dawes and an ecclectic mix of others (Dispatch, Steve Winwood, STS9, Gogol Bordello, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Flogging Molly, Coheed & Cambria, Paul Oakenfold, Randy Newman, Cage the Elephant, Alabama Shakes, more)…

The 2012 lineup by contrast is more in line with Dave Matthews’ Caravans from last summer…but with white sand and palm trees…
