When Beck stopped by Conan in September for “George Harrison Week” (covering “Wah-Wah“) he also pre-recorded a performance of his own “Waking Light” that aired this past week. Also this week, The Flaming Lips played a free outdoor costume mini-concert presented by Jimmy Kimmel Live on October 27th. Last night “With a Little Help From My Friends” from that concert – with Grace Potter and Morgan Delt, all dressed as characters from The Wizard of Oz – was televised. Additionally “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” is now streaming as a web exclusive. Also last night  IFC aired Comedy Bang! Bang!‘s special, “Wayne Coyne Wears a Halloween Costume.”

Austin City Limits aired an hour with Tweedy, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon caught up with Wilco, currently in the midst of their 20th anniversary gigging. They revisited too rarities for Fallon: “A Magazine Called Sunset” from their 2003 EP, More Like the Moon, and 2002’s “Cars Can’t Escape” for a web exclusive. Tweedy also partook in some charades.

Elsewhere Echosmith visited Ellen, War on Drugs and Bearhands played for Conan, She and Him for Fallon, and Perfume Genius, Taylor Swift and Mastodon all stopped by Letterman:
