PsychExFutureHeart has posted songs, Flaming Lips’ quotes and more everyday since February 22, 2010 –the 27th anniversary of the first Flaming Lips gig- beginning with the immortal lyric “put you life into a bubble” (from “Turn It On”). PsychExFutureHeart isn’t just about The Flaming Lips though… so there’s also a Song of the Day by other artists. For the first dozen days they ranged from The Who’s gem “Tattoo” (live in 1968!) to Desolation Wilderness, from a Mercury Rev classic (listen below) to a new Wanda Jackson song cut with Jack White. And just as “Turn It On” was the first Lyric of the Day, Grandaddy’s “Now It’s On” was the first Song of the Day.
