Gummy Fetus Shower (y’know, like a baby shower…)

The Flaming Lips’ Gummy Fetus was released in June exclusively at Kansas’ Love Garden.  In July it became available at a second store – OKC’s Guestroom.  On August 6th a third store is stocking the rare item, Tulsa’s Dwelling Spaces.  The owner of that fine establishment, Mary Beth Babcock, has been having fun all week tweeting adorable pictures of the fetuses, and on August 4th she even held a “fetus shower” (you know, like a baby shower).  Check out the shindig below, followed by the three tracks from the fetus, snippets from the recording sessions and Wayne Coyne discussing some future gummy birth-related items….
