Hüsker Dü drummer and co-leader Grant Hart has died at age 56. Hart, who was battling cancer, toured as recently as this past spring with the Meat Puppets and Mike Watt. Hart’s post-Hüsker Dü discography includes albums with his trio Nova Mob and solo records, most recently 2013’s The Argument inspired by Hart’s friendship with William S. Burroughs and based on John Milton’s Paradise Lost.
