UPDATE – Stream VH1’s entire Thanksgiving Bonnaroo special here.
“A Very Bonnaroo Thanksgiving” is set to air November 27th at 9/8 CST on VH1. The first ‘Roo television broadcast of its kind (a “Best of Bonnaroo” series periodically aired on Fuse and its sister stations from 2008 through 2010), this 83 minute Viacom special precedes the Bonnaroo 2015 pre-sale which starts the next day, Friday, November 28th at noon EST. Dubbed “The Bonnaroo Holiday Pre-sale,” a limited number of general admission tickets will be available for $274.50, plus fees. Black Friday’s price is significantly less expensive than the two main tiers to follow the pre-sale, as explained by Bonnaroo’s ticket page: “Regular general admission tickets for the 2015 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival will be priced in two tiers: Tier 1 will be $299.50 plus applicable fees, while supplies last. The remaining Tier 2 tickets will priced at $324.50 plus applicable fees. Bonnaroo’s official on-sale will take place in early 2015, following the 2015 line-up announcement. Ticket fees are $31.55 per ticket.” Once Friday’s allotment has sold out the regular GA Tier 1 price ensues. Discounted VIP tickets will also be available Friday for $1,474.50.
With the holiday pre-sale also comes the first round of 2015 Bonnaroo line-up rumors: Mac DeMarco, Caribou and iLoveMakonnen.
The Thanksgiving VH1 special will show classic Bonnaroo performances from the festival’s vault. Two videos from Thursday’s show are streaming now on vh1.com: Alabama Shakes “Hold On” and Jack Johnson’s “Banana Pancakes.” Hopefully more videos will be officially uploaded after the air date.
