Stream Radiohead Release Sets, Thom York’s 6 Mix and Entire TKOL RMX Album – Caribou, Jamie xx, SBTRKT and more – Plus, MoogFest Updates and Streams of New Albums

On Tuesday, October 11th, Thom Yorke DJed Radiohead’s TKOL RMX release party at London’s Boiler Room (which also featured performances by the album’s remixers – Caribou, Jamie XX, Illum Sphere and Lone).  The entire show – Caribou et al included – streamed at Radiohead’s Dead Air Space page (via BoilerRoom.tv) and can now be viewed below:

In other Radiohead news: the current issue of Rolling Stone reports sessions for the band’s next album commence at their Oxford studio this December and January, last week Phil Selway (drums) guested on John Kennedy’s XFM radio show and Ed O’Brien (guitar) was a panelist on BBC ‘s Steve Lamacq’s Roundtable, Yorke turned 43 on October 7th and his cover of Neil Young’s “After the Gold Rush” (from 2003) is included on the new compilation The Bridge School Concerts, Radiohead’s recent New York late night appearances (SNL, Colbert, Fallon) can be watched here, and the entire double disc TKOL RMX streams at both Hype Machine and Spinner.

SBTRKT – the remixer behind the version of “Lotus Flower” that closes TKOL RMX – also recently DJed for the BBC.  Stream his two-hour Essential Mix (BBC Radio 1 program) here.  The set includes his unreleased track “Runaway,” Radiohead, Flying Lotus, and more.  SBTRKT will briefly tour the US from late October through early November.  Day two of MoogFest is sure to be a highlight of both the American SBTRKT dates and MoogFest…
