With seemingly everybody weighing in on Charlie Sheen, and the media eager to spin the latest Sheen gossip from any possible angle, it was only a matter of time before completely unrelated figures – like The Flaming Lips Wayne Coyne – got asked…
Wayne Coyne on Charlie Sheen (via Spinner): “His story has been told without him participating in it for so long. I’m sure he’s so tired of the story being told by everyone else, so he’s thinking, ‘I’m going to tell it myself, and have some fun.'”
“I not really a fan. I don’t follow his ‘Two and a Half Men’ show — I know that when my mother was alive, she loved it, so let that be said. I don’t really care that much. But I think he definitely has something going on here.”
“I don’t think he takes himself that serious. I don’t want to make it seem like alcohol and drug addiction and abusing your wife isn’t serious, though.”
“I’m all for the immediacy of Twitter as a way to engage with people. I think someone like him that’s already kind of doing crazy s— could be interesting [to follow].”
