Headliners The Flaming Lips are offering an “Ultimate Getaway Weekend” package to fans who bid on a charity auction benefiting Childswork Learning Center:
“For three days, you’ll be at the Capitol Hill Block Party music festival. You and three guests will have VIP passes and see over 60 bands play, and you’ll join the Flaming Lips backstage!
You don’t need to sleep in your van, though, since this trip includes three nights, in two hotel rooms, at Seattle’s Paramount Hotel, a boutique hotel right downtown.
This package also includes a treasure trove of priceless collectors’ items – including CDs, vinyl, t-shirts, and posters (some autographed) – plus the famous and rare “gummy skull” album. (Seriously, this is a life-size gummy-bear skull with a USB drive buried inside!). Auction ends at 4:00pm on Wednesday, April 10. The proceeds from this auction will support Childswork Learning Center’s programs.“
Bid here to help the school and win this prize – including a Gummy Skull, autographed merch, and a meeting with the band on Sunday, July 28th – total worth estimated at $3000.
