How You Can Still Win Bonnaroo Tickets, and other Festival Updates

It’s almost here…

Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival 2014 is June 12th – 15th in Manchester, Tennessee with performances by Jack White, Elton John, Neutral Milk Hotel, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Grouplove, Dr.Dog, Broken Bells, Ty Segall, White Denim, Vampire Weekend, Goat, Andrew Bird & the Hands of Glory, Washed Out, Cake, Warpaint, Phosphorescent, Phoenix, Arctic Monkeys, The Flaming Lips and more.

Updates since January have been posted here (and here, and most recently here) leading up to the fest – including a recap of the BLAM! line-up announcement webcast (which saw a Flaming Lips/ Ben Folds superjam debuting new songs, streaming here). There’s still time left to win tickets from DO615, Lightning 100, knoxville.com, Knoxville News Sentinel, and No Country for New Nashville. If you already have tickets, it’s time to customize your schedule – including non-music activities – update your apps to view the 2014 Centeroo map, double check your “to bring” list, read the on-site accommodations  and camping instructions, and plan a carpool by registering with zimrides. All vehicles arriving to the farm with at least four people are eligible for prizes (details here).

In other festival news, 4Knots Music Festival added Mac DeMarco to their line-up (already announced to be headlined by Dinsoaur Jr). This FREE festival will take place at New York’s South Street Seaport on July 12th. A full list of free NY concerts is here.

The Hudson Project is holding a job fair on June 8th from 10AM–6PM and June 9th from 5PM–9PM at Saugerties Senior Center 207 Market St. The new festival – set to take place in the same field as Woodstock 94 – will debut this summer with The Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse and more.

Wanda Jackson will headline the ACM@UCO stage of the inaugural OKC Fest on June 28th. The full line-ups for all stages of the 3 day fest are here.
